THE STORY BEHIND F & G

A craft he loves.
A family legacy in the making.

For Nelson Fuentes, painting is personal. It is the trade he learned, the chance he took and the work he is proud to share with his family.

The F & G Master Painters crew together outside a home — The people behind the finish. The F & G crew.

NELSON FUENTES · FOUNDER

Learning the work. Loving the result.

Nelson started working for a painting company in 2001. He learned on the job, project by project, and fell in love with both the craft and seeing how happy people were with the results.

The 2008 recession left him unemployed. It also became the turning point that pushed him to start his own business doing what he loved.

F & G brings together the family names and the dream of building something of their own. For Nelson, it represents a legacy his family can feel proud of and carry forward for generations.

Based in Mesa, the family business offers painting, cabinet refinishing, wallpaper installation and specialty finishes across the Phoenix Valley. Nelson works with customers in English and Spanish.

IN NELSON’S WORDS

“We don’t just paint houses. We bring life to walls, character to spaces, and beauty to the places families call home. Every brushstroke is part of someone’s story, and every home is a canvas waiting to become something meaningful.”
